the so called "GY" scene seems to be based round an ethos of people judging themselves againt others. no-one is free to be themselves because thy worry too much about acceptance into the elitist ranks,
the scene SHOULD be about supporting lcal music.
where the fuck do you see that happening.
setting aside local gig promoters (Joe, mark stand)the only obvious examples are andy tyrell and simon massey.
when you can all live up to being as selfless and giving with your time and resources as either of these people, THEN you can talk abou "the gy scene"
